An IP address is a set of numbers like 207.55.16.127 that identifies your web site's server. On a shared hosting package, one IP address is often shared by hundreds of web sites without any problems. With a dedicated IP address, you reserve an address that uniquely identifies only your site. This is required for the installation of an SSL certificate or an anonymous FTP server. A dedicated IP address is available for free with a Dedicated Server. Additional IPs are available at a discounted price of C$29.95 per year.

Dedicated SSL

With a dedicated SSL certificate, data transferred between your site and your visitors are encrypted and digitally signed, ensuring that they originate from their expected source without having being modified. When browsing a secure site, visitors will see a security lock in their browser, confirming that the site is safe. SSL certificates are required for sites that process credit cards (or similar sensitive information) online. SSL certificates also require a dedicated IP address, and are bundled for free with the Online Shop package. Brute-Force protection

With Brute Force protection, your account will automatically get locked if invalid login attempts are tried more than a certain number of times, effectively preventing malicious users from discovering your password by attempting all different combinations.
